Anointing Oil: Cedars of Lebanon 1/2 oz

Cedars of Lebanon represents strength and protection. The cedar of Lebanon is, in accordance with the standard in the Middle East, a huge evergreen tree. The tree can reach a height of about 27 meters and is therefore the "king" of all Biblical trees. The wood is amazingly decay-resistant and is never eaten by insect larvae. It is a beautiful, majestic, and red-tinted tree with deep green leaves. The bark is dark gray and produces a gummy resin, from which highly aromatic oils are produced. The cedar of Lebanon is the strong and fragrant wood that was used to build the house of David, the house of Solomon, and a large part of the first temple. It was also used, in combination with hyssop, to cleanse the house of a leper. It speaks of strength, durability, wholeness, and restoration.
