Anointing oil: Cedars of Lebanon 1/4 oz

Cedars of Lebanon represents strength and protection. Consistent with Middle Eastern standards, the cedar of Lebanon is a massive evergreen tree. The tree can reach a height of about 27 meters, making it the "king" of all Biblical trees. The wood is remarkably resistant to decay and is never eaten by insect larvae. It is a beautiful, majestic, red-tinted tree with deep green leaves. The bark is dark grey and produces a gummy resin, from which highly aromatic oils are made. The cedar of Lebanon is the strong and fragrant type of wood that was used to build the house of David, the house of Solomon, and much of the first temple. It was also used, in combination with Hyssop, to cleanse the house of a leper. It speaks of strength, durability, wholeness, and restoration.

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon”
Psalm 92:12
