Description
Description
Balm of Gilead was an ancient, highly prized ointment or salve used to soothe and heal.
It is mentioned several times in the Bible and named after the region of Gilead where it was produced. It was an important commodity in the ancient world.
The name became associated with the power to heal and soothe.
Jeremiah 8:21-22 “Since my people are crushed, I am crushed; I mourn, and distress takes hold of me. Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people?”.

When an order cannot be sent as mailbox post due to its size or weight, the rate for parcel post is applied, which may lead to higher shipping costs.
