Scented candle: Cedars of Lebanon 3x6 (7.5x15 cm)

Cedars of Lebanon represent strength and protection. The cedar of Lebanon is, in accordance with the standard in the Middle East, a massive evergreen tree. The tree can reach a height of about 27 meters, making it the “king” of all biblical trees. The wood is remarkably decay-resistant and is never eaten by insect larvae. It is a beautiful, majestic, and red-tinted tree with deep green leaves. The tree bark is dark gray and produces a gummy resin, from which highly aromatic oils are produced. The cedar of Lebanon is the strong and fragrant type of wood used to build the house of David, the house of Solomon, and a large part of the first temple. It was also used, in combination with Hyssop, to cleanse the house of a leper. It speaks of strength, durability, wholeness, and restoration.

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon”
Psalm 92:12
