Description

Spikenard represents worship and praise. Spikenard is a rare and precious fragrant oil, which was used by Mary to anoint the head and feet of the Messiah, two days before His death, as recorded in John 12:3. “Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.” It speaks of the bride's extravagant worship and her intimacy with the Bridegroom, in total surrender and without regard for the cost. It symbolizes the bride who has made herself ready.

While the king is at his table, my spikenard sends forth its fragrance.
Song of Solomon 1:12

About the Candles

These hand-poured palm wax candles produce a beautiful design in every candle and burn cleaner than paraffin. The elegant label displays both the botanical and spiritual information about this exotic Biblical fragrance, including a Bible verse. The estimated burn time for the 3x4 pillar is 50-60 hours; the 3x6 pillar lasts approximately 70-90 hours.

Shipping

The Anointing Oil Shop charges shipping costs that are based as much as possible on the actual costs of shipping. For smaller shipments, the rate for mailbox post is applied. When an order cannot be sent as mailbox post due to its size or weight, the rate for parcel post is applied, which may lead to higher shipping costs.

The applicable shipping costs are calculated automatically and clearly displayed at checkout, before the order is finalized.
